The Garage
UPGEARED is automotive streetwear — one tee per car, one car per drop. The Garage is the full lineup: every car we've built a tribute to, its engine and production years, the collection it belongs to, and the tee tied to it. New cars join as new drops launch.

BMW M3 (E30)
A homologation special built to satisfy Group A racing rules, not showroom demand — the car that made the M3 name mean something, sold to people who found its limits whether BMW wanted them to or not.
BMW M3 (E36)
Same badge, two different engines depending which continent sold it to you — the practical entry point into M3 ownership now that E30 prices went vertical.
Toyota GT86
The same chassis sold three times under three badges, deliberately underpowered so the driver learns momentum instead of relying on horsepower to bail out a bad line.
Lamborghini Diablo
The Countach's successor, designed by Marcello Gandini and softened by Chrysler's studio during Lamborghini's brief stretch under American ownership — the poster car of an entire generation regardless.
Bentley Continental GT
The car that saved Bentley by sharing a platform with a Volkswagen — 550 horsepower wrapped in bodywork that reads as quiet money instead of a spec sheet.
Lexus IS 300h
A sport-sedan silhouette wrapped around a drivetrain built for quiet competence rather than a 0-60 number — mood over spec sheet, built for a low sun and a long straightaway.
Porsche 911 Turbo S
A "widowmaker" nickname earned by the 1975 930 and never let go, still attached to a modern car engineered specifically to be one of the most controllable performance machines on sale.
Brands
BMW
Germany · Founded 1916
The M badge exists because of homologation racing, not marketing — the E30 and E36 M3s in the Garage are the two most argued-about chapters of that badge.
Porsche
Germany · Founded 1931
The 911 Turbo's reputation was earned in the 1970s and never quite let go of the modern car, decades after the engineering that justified it was mostly solved.
Lamborghini
Italy · Founded 1963
Uncompromisingly Italian identity, even the one time — the Diablo era — an American parent company was signing off on the shape.
Bentley
United Kingdom · Founded 1919
A century of bespoke, hand-finished exclusivity, until a shared Volkswagen Group platform multiplied its volumes overnight and funded everything built since.
Toyota
Japan · Founded 1937
The engineering discipline behind a car deliberately kept underpowered on purpose, because the point was never the spec sheet.
Lexus
Japan · Founded 1989
Toyota's luxury division, built on quiet refinement over outright performance — the register the IS 300h was designed inside from the start.
FAQ
What is the Garage?
The Garage is UPGEARED's index of every car behind a drop — engine, production years, origin, and the collection it belongs to — plus the full history behind each one. It grows as new cars join the lineup.
Are UPGEARED tees officially licensed by the car manufacturers?
No. UPGEARED tees are independent tributes referencing a car's name and history — they are not official merchandise from BMW, Porsche, Lamborghini, Bentley, Toyota, or Lexus.
How does a car get chosen for a drop?
Each car has to earn a place through its own history, not just its badge — a homologation story, an engineering decision, a reputation that outlived the generation that earned it. One car, one print, no reprint.
Do you add new cars over time?
Yes. The Garage table reflects the current lineup and gets a new row whenever a new drop launches.
What are Vice, Underground, and Circuit?
UPGEARED's three collections. Vice is neon-dusk, 80s/90s exotics built on mood over spec sheet. Underground is hand-painted, halftone garage culture. Circuit is engineered and track-focused, condensed-type manifesto energy.
How is a car assigned to a collection?
By what the car is actually about, not its era alone — a quiet luxury GT reads Vice even from the 2000s, a race-bred chassis reads Circuit even from the 90s, a garage-built homologation special reads Underground regardless of decade.
Are the car history facts on the Garage fact-checked?
Every claim — engine codes, power figures, production years, race results — is verified against sources before publication. See the "Last updated" date on this page and each article for the most recent review.
Where are UPGEARED tees made?
Each piece is print-on-demand through our partner TapStitch — made when you order it, not held as warehouse stock. Sizes S–3XL.
Can I request a car for a future drop?
Email hello@upgeared.co. Not every request becomes a drop, but the Garage is built to grow.
Does every car have both a tee and an article?
Yes — every row in the Garage table links to both the product page and the full history article for that car.
